Vivoleum! It's Made From People!

The Yes Men have unleashed another of their infamous culture hacks. This time, they delivered a presentation to a Canadian oil industry symposium. Posing as executives from Exxon Mobile and the National Petroleum Council, they delivered a keynote presentation about a new solution to the problem of dwindling supplies of petroleum: use dead people.

Using a technique similar to rendering of whale blubber, they propose the conversion of corpses into a new fuel source known as Vivoleum.

"Vivoleum works in perfect synergy with the continued expansion of fossil fuel production," noted "Exxon rep" "Florian Osenberg" (Yes Man Mike Bonanno). "With more fossil fuels comes a greater chance of disaster, but that means more feedstock for Vivoleum. Fuel will continue to flow for those of us left."
