Jazz saxophonist and composer Rudresh Mahanthappa (left) and pianist Vijay Iyer dropped by the show before their gig at Dazzle. Besides being a very accomplished musician, Rudresh is also from Boulder, so we like him even more.

DJ Olive Live in the Studio
One of our favorite Turntablist/Laptop-type dudes stopped by for a chat and an in-studio performance. DJ Olive has been a part of the Brooklyn Rooftop party scene and has worked with dozens of the best improvisors, jazzers, and composers.
He performed live in Denver with Paul Riola's Bottesini Project. We had a nice chat and Olive did a great laptop dub set live in the studio.

Wayne Horvitz and Ron Miles in the studio
We had a nice visit today from Wayne Horvitz and Ron Miles. They're performing at Dazzle Restaurant with Wayne's group the Gravitas Quartet. Ron played a nice solo live and then Wayne showed up during our subsequent chat.
